Overview We are seeking a well-rounded, versatile Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Finance team in Denver. The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making with accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the monthly close process for multiple subsidiaries
Oversee and streamline the accounts payable process, including travel, expense reimbursement, and 1099 filing
Oversee the payroll process, including benefit deductions and state payroll tax accounts
Oversee the 401(k) program, including matching and compliance reporting
Assist with the preparation of financial statements
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with GAAP
Manage the chart of accounts
Supervise offshore accounting staff and collaborate with other departments
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other ad hoc reporting
Support the audit of financials and internal controls
Participate in systems/process improvements and finance transformation initiatives
Assist with M&A activities, including systems integrations
Assist with the completion and documentation of internal controls
Assist with corporate tax return supporting documentation
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including both public accounting and industry
Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite experience is preferred)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment Full-time position
Hybrid (two days in Englewood office and three days working from home)

Fast-paced, start-up environment
Salary $105,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr Base + bonus & stock options
