This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect the firm’s systems and data. This role includes system upgrades, system setup and configuration, and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements. The Cybersecurity Engineer will support secure, government-regulated environments to meet required security standards. This position is eligible to participate in the firm's flexible work program. Responsibilities / Essential Functions Design, implement, and maintain security architectures and solutions Configure and upgrade security systems to meet evolving requirements Ensure systems and processes comply with relevant data protection, privacy, and security requirements as defined by clients and applicable regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, CMMC) Set up and maintain secure environments and configurations in accordance with client requirements and industry standards Perform risk analysis and security assessments Collaborate with IT and client teams to ensure security objectives are met Manage encryption, access controls, and endpoint security solutions Monitor and optimize security infrastructure for reliability and performance Document system configurations, processes, and changes Respond to after-hours security issues as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Communicate professionally and effectively, both in oral and written form Multi-task, prioritize and coordinate deadlines and track progress Organize work and use time efficiently Attention to detail and accuracy; maintain confidentiality of information Establish and maintain effective working relationships in or out of a team environment Understand organizational structure and collaborate across teams Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems Willingness to learn and adopt new methodologies In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity engineering and architecture Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, and CMMC requirements Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; effective documentation abilities Ability to work collaboratively and respond flexibly to changing needs Willingness to respond to issues during and outside of core business hours Education and Experience Minimum five (5) years of relevant cybersecurity engineering experience Experience with secure government-regulated cloud platforms and environments (e.g., GCC High or similar) Work Environment An on-site presence is an essential function of this position. Remote work may be permitted in accordance with the firm’s flexible work policy and based on business needs Professional office environment, usually quiet to moderate Standard office equipment used regularly Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Physical Demands Primarily sedentary; may involve lifting files, opening filing cabinets, bending or standing May require carrying or lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds This description outlines the basic requirements and other duties may be assigned The base salary for this position is expected to be between $165,000 to $175,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
