Community hospital looking to bring on Director Surgical Services! Bonus Incentive Plan, Sign On Bonus and Relocation!

Reporting Structure

• Reports up to CNO
• 1 manager (starting mid-November)
• 3 Clinical Nurse Coordinators (1 for endo, 1 for pre post, 1 for OR)
• 70 total FTEs

Overview

• 4 ORs, 3 Endo Rooms
• Strong ortho program doing a lot of hips and knees, Mako Robot. General surgery – will launch DaVinci robot. Sports medicine physician – shoulders, small joints. Surgeon from sister facility is going to open a clinic to restart GYN in November.
• 7 cases on a light day, up to 26 on busy day. On call for weekends
• Director is over all areas of surgical services – OR, SPD, pre post, PACU, endo
• Great relationship with anesthesia

Growth Strategies

• Upgrading central sterile, upgrading equipment for Davinci (overhaul for that space to accommodate)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required
• Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
• Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred
• Surgical Services leadership experience required (Manager or Director experience)
