Job Description Recruiting Manager from Velvet Taco, this latest Recruiting Manager job vacancy is located in Dallas, TX (Far North area), United States. The role supports the People team, with responsibilities spanning full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and broader HR initiatives. The ideal candidate is a brand ambassador with strong sourcing, recruiting experience, leadership capabilities, and knowledge of current industry trends. Responsibilities Point of contact for Directors of Operations and Restaurant Team Members, maintaining productive working relationships. Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, offering letters, background checks, and post-hire follow-up for management positions. Handle onboarding and offboarding duties: new hire paperwork, I-9 verifications, and exit interviews. Partner with the Director of Operations to identify hiring needs and select top talent to support growth plans. Identify a high-quality candidate pool through online job boards, networking, and referrals. Coordinate candidate travel for interviews and manager training out of state. Act as an internal consultant, training Hiring Managers on talent acquisition processes and best practices. Manage the Applicant Tracking System (Workstream): posting positions, maintaining workflow, and supporting recruitment materials. Handle employee relations from intake to resolution. Develop and implement Talent Acquisition strategies to support long-term growth goals. Assist with NRO Kickoff Meetings and attend quarterly Director of Operations/General Manager meetings as needed. Conduct quarterly manager development sessions on People Operations Processes & Procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (human resources, communications, management, hospitality) required. Minimum 2+ years of recruiting or equivalent experience in the Restaurant/Hospitality industry. Expert knowledge of internet-based recruiting techniques, social networks, hiring platforms, and online job boards. Works well independently and as part of a team; able to partner cross-functionally. Professional handling of time-sensitive/confidential information. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Exceptional organizational skills. Experience working in a remote environment. Location & Travel Location : This role can be located in any Velvet Taco market (TX, GA, IL, or NC). Travel : Up to 10% travel as necessary to existing and future locations. Compensation & Benefits Pay : USD Negotiable; Bonus pay available.
