THE POSITION

Accent is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager with strong computer skills that has experience in commercial construction and/or public works contracting.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare bid packages (plans, specifications and pricing documents)

· Prepare job packets to establish all labor, materials and equipment required to complete projects

· Prepare contract documents, including proposals, bid form pricing, RFI’s, change orders, submittals and closeouts

· Manage the purchase order process for subcontractors and vendors

· Source, evaluate and procure materials

· Coordinate shipment and pickup of materials to ensure that projects run on schedule

· Anticipate current and future project needs

· Assist Project Manager with all phases of the construction process

· Facility / attend pre-bid, pre-con and progress meetings

· Troubleshoot field issues

· Assist in IT development and troubleshooting

· Perform take offs

· Irrigation designs

· Make recommendations to improve estimating, purchasing and project administration systems

Skills / Qualifications

• Bilingual is a plus
• Construction and/or Landscaping experience required
• Experience in construction administration
• Strong over all computer skills
• Highly competent in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to multi task
• Experience in Bluebeam, Procore an AutoCad is a plus
