We are hiring a part-time Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) to join our interdisciplinary team at Vida Guidance Center in the Bronx, NY. Vida is an Article-31 Mental Health Center serving families in the community. As an LMSW Therapist at Vida, you will conduct individual and group psychotherapy with adults and/or children and families. This is a part time, regularly scheduled role, ideally seeking a 12-15 regular housr per week commitment. Master's Degree in Social Work required. ~ NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) ~ Bilingual English and Spanish required. ~ 2+ years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required. Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children within public schools. Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes. Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources. Provides consultation to medical providers. Onsite, Bronx, NY, Shifts fall between Mondays and Saturdays.
