Overview Job Overview – IT Support Specialist (Service Delivery): Compensation: $35/hour • Location: Middlesex County, MA • Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring an IT Support Specialist (Service Delivery) with our client in Middlesex County, MA (Hybrid). In this temporary role, you’ll provide Tier 1-2 support for local and remote users, troubleshoot network/server/hardware/software issues, manage ServiceNow tickets and knowledge articles, and assist on IT projects. You’ll also support secure endpoint management and IAM while ensuring HIPAA and SOX compliance.
Responsibilities Technical Support: Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for network, server, hardware, software, and mobile device issues.
Issue Resolution: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and document service requests in ServiceNow, escalating when necessary.
User Assistance: Support local and remote employees across corporate, manufacturing, supply chain, R&D, and sales teams.
Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain Knowledge Base articles to streamline user self-service and efficiency.
Compliance & Security: Ensure IT operations meet HIPAA, SOX, and security standards while assisting with audits.
Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Certification: CompTIA A+ required; ITIL Foundation (v3/v4), Network+ or Security+, Microsoft 365, Apple ACSP/ACMT, Jamf, or Intune preferred.
Experience: At least 1 year of Service Desk or IT support experience in a corporate or enterprise environment.
Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and macOS, ServiceNow ticketing, endpoint management, IAM, VPN tools, and basic networking.
Industry Knowledge: Secure endpoint management, HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and cybersecurity best practices.
Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and managing multiple priorities.
