Prime Residential is hiring for the Senior Manager, Construction Project Management role. Base pay range: $153,161.00/yr - $170,179.00/yr. Job Type: Full-time. Description Prime Residential’s Senior Manager, Construction Project Management oversees and ensures the successful execution of capital improvement and construction projects from inception to completion across the company\'s diverse multifamily residential real estate portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Construction, they manage all aspects of regional construction projects, including team management, vendor relationships, pre-construction planning, project execution, delivery, post-construction, and cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring adherence to Prime\'s policies, best practices, and procedures. : Onsite three to four days a week at our property, The Gateway, in downtown San Francisco Target Pay
: $153,161-$170,179 per year + performance bonus Key Responsibilities
Manage budgeting, invoicing, and close-out of large capital projects. Oversee profit and loss, including job cost comparisons, staffing, productivity, and safety. Review project progress for timeliness and budget adherence. Partner with the VP of Construction to formulate and monitor project plans. Oversee subcontractor and vendor selection, negotiations, and contracts. Serve as the administrative contact with architects, contractors, and other agencies. Provide scheduling information and budget estimates for future projects. Prepare regular progress reports and special reports for unique issues. Initiate and manage the bid process for construction projects. Assist in preparing the region’s annual budget. Collaborate with property teams and other departments to assess and meet property needs. Review design drawings, specifications, and contracts for adherence throughout the project. Monitor field operations, ensuring quality and schedule adherence. Develop and maintain project budgets, including approval of design and construction pricing. Lead and support direct reports, ensuring adherence to project management processes and safety practices. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (or related field) preferred. Ten (10)+ years of construction project management experience required. Three (3)+ years of experience directly managing a team of two or more construction project managers required. Demonstrated experience working in the multi-family or residential industry required. Working knowledge of architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings and systems required. In-depth knowledge of construction schedules, procedures, and cost estimating required. Working knowledge of permitting process and building codes. What We Offer
