SHIFT: *36 Hours Can Be Offered 12-HOUR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15 Call Requirement: NONE Float Requirement: NONE Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6 weeks PATIENT DIAGNOSES: We are a community hospital that aims to provide care for low risk maternal and neonatal population. We currently do about 30 births a month but starting Jan 2025, we are projected to do 80 births a month. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: We are an 8 bed LDRP that has 7 overflow beds to accommodate postpartum patients (15 total rooms able to be utilized). RNs must be comfortable to serve in the role as labor and delivery nurse, baby nurse, baby stabilization if needed, C/S circulator, C/S PACU recovery RN and taking care of the postpartum and neonatal population. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Our unit includes standard equipment found on most LDRP unit and C/S ORs. UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: Self, but after Unit balances their unit needs UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours
