Overview: HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel RN for the MSIC unit in Fort Wayne, IN. This role provides care for high-acuity patients in a neuro/trauma-focused ICU environment. The ideal candidate is skilled in critical care, adaptable to floating assignments, and able to work collaboratively in a dynamic unit. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill MSIC patients.
Manage high-acuity neuro/trauma patients with a 2:1 patient ratio; occasionally 3:1 for stable patients based on staffing.
Float to other units as needed to support patient care demands.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
Accurately document patient care and interventions in Cerner EMR.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of ICU RN experience.
Competency in managing high-acuity neuro/trauma patients.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH.
Flexibility to float and manage variable patient assignments.
