What You'll Do
As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, fostering a warm, positive, and inclusive atmosphere. This position provides a chance to earn while you learn about long-term care and its career paths.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalism
- Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and resident activities
- Receive newspapers, mail, and gifts for residents

What You'll Bring
Qualifications of a Receptionist include:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
- Proficient in using office equipment and computer applications
- Empathy and understanding towards the needs of residents and their families
