What You'll Do: As a Senior Secretary, you'll play a critical role in supporting the mission of juvenile diversion services. Under limited supervision, you will:
- Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Manager and caseworkers.
- Supervise in-house community service projects and client activities.
- Serve as a key liaison between departments, clients, and the public.
- Draft and prepare accurate reports, letters, and confidential documents.
- Maintain calendars, organize records, and manage data entry in departmental databases.
- Answer and direct multi-line phone calls, resolve inquiries, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Receive and process restitution and diversion fees, manage office supplies, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
What We're Looking For: This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys balancing administrative precision with meaningful interactions that support youth services.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
- Experience working with or supporting at-risk youth or social service programs is a plus.
- Calm, confident presence when dealing with the public, especially in emotionally charged situations.
- Comfort with databases, document creation, proofreading, and Microsoft Office tools.
Do You Qualify?
- Associate's degree (or equivalent certification) in Business, Secretarial Studies, or related field.
- Two or more years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to become First Aid and CPR certified.
