Classified - Position - Instructional Paraprofessional
Grades PK-12
Must meet minimum education requirements per Alabama State Department of Education including: High school diploma or equivalent AND one of the following: successful completion of at least 48 semesters of study at an accredited institution of higher education, or earn an Associate's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education, or successful completion (level 3 or higher) of specified WorkKeys assessments.

- System-wide; May be assigned to one or multiple schools
- May serve special needs students in grades P-12, provide clerical support, or support library/media professionals
- up to 187 day annual assignment; effective dates TBD

Salary Range: From/To Calculated per Salary Schedule available at MSCS website under Employment Resources
- Daily substitutes, leave positions, and Special Education/Paraprofessional positions are filled through Kelley Staffing.
- Participation in New Hire Orientation, other training, and professional development may be required
- Specific background clearance through ALSDE required (Self pay)
- Random drug/alcohol screening may be required
- May be assigned to multiple locations
