We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Urgent Care team at a highly respected, mission-driven community health organization located in Madera, CA . This is a full-time position focused on delivering comprehensive same-day care to patients in need of timely, non-emergency treatment.

You ll be joining one of California s leading Federally Qualified Health Centers , known for providing integrated medical, dental, behavioral health, and urgent care services to underserved populations. Position Overview:

  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

  • Setting: Full-scope Urgent Care within a busy outpatient facility

  • Patient Volume: Moderate pace designed to support high-quality care

  • Typical Cases Include:

    • Cuts, bites, scrapes

    • Minor burns

    • Sprains and strains

    • Back pain

    • Respiratory infections (colds, flus, sinusitis)

    • Skin rashes and irritation

    • Ear infections, stomach upset, heartburn

    • Diarrhea, dehydration, minor acute illnesses

This position is ideal for an experienced, flexible provider who thrives in a fast-paced environment but values work-life balance and community impact .

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $140,000 $145,000 annually, based on experience

  • Vacation:

    • 15 working days (3 weeks) annually, increasing to 4 weeks after 3 years of service

    • Accrual per organizational policy with payout of unused vacation upon separation

  • Sick Leave: Per full-time provider policy

  • Paid Holidays: As outlined in the employee handbook

  • Professional Fees:

    • One professional membership covered

    • State license, DEA, and recertification fees paid

  • CME:

    • 5 days of paid CME leave per year

    • Up to $2,100/year for CME-related expenses (pre-approved)

  • Insurance Coverage:

    • Medical, dental, and vision for the provider, with family coverage available

    • Life insurance and long-term disability provided

    • Enrollment required within 30 days of start date

  • Retirement:

    • 403(b) retirement plan with 100% employer match up to 5% of annual salary

  • Productivity Incentive Bonus:

    • $10 per encounter for patient visits exceeding 22/day

    • Paid quarterly (must be employed at time of payout)
