Job Title: Dockworker Part-Time

Job Summary

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety- and customer-focused individual to join our growing logistics team as a part-time Dockworker. In this position you will ensure freight is loaded safely and efficiently to be delivered on time and in good condition. This includes operating powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, and hydraulic jacks. Jockeys may be utilized to maneuver vehicles efficiently and safely, even in tight spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Print BOL for daily deliveries.
• Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
• Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
• Unload cargo using forklifts.
• Secure shipments upon arrival and before departure.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
• Communicate with the management team regarding schedules, delays and any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

• Impeccable customer service and dedication.
• Safely perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers.
• Able to read, write and speak the English language.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
