Job Description

Connect Staffing is looking for a Bilingual Material Handler to join a leading mattress manufacturing company in Waco, TX.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 6:00 pm (Occasional OT)

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Requirements

• Must have at least 1 Year of recent related experience
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+lbs
• Able to stand for 8+ hours during your shift
• Operate forklifts safely to transport raw materials, products, and pallets within the facility.
• Load and unload trucks, production lines, and storage areas efficiently.
• Stack and organize materials to maintain a safe and orderly warehouse.
• Prior experience in roles such as a Warehouse Associate, Loader/Unloader, Forklift Operator or Production Assistant is a plus.

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, supplies, and finished products to and from production areas.
• Track and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure that stock levels are correctly documented and managed.
• Load and unload shipments, verify incoming and outgoing materials, and prepare items for shipment in accordance with specifications.
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies to supervisors or quality control staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping duties when needed.
