This position is located in the Sports and Fitness Division, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Great Lakes, Illinois. Incumbent serves as a Fitness instructor, personal trainer or group fitness instructor and may perform one or a combination of the following functions within the Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Support Program Branch: Group Exercise, Command Fitness Leader (CFL) Outreach, and Fitness Enhancement Program (FEP) Outreach.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as a Fitness instructor, personal trainer or group fitness instructor, including potential engagement in Group Exercise, Command Fitness Leader (CFL) Outreach, and Fitness Enhancement Program (FEP) Outreach within the Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Support Program Branch.

Qualifications

• Will work various shifts to include weekdays, weekends, holidays/special events: mornings, afternoons and evening shifts.
• Must pass all applicable records and background check.
• Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
• You must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent Unit
• Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer
• A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles
