Patient Safety Assistant — Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interact with confused, violent, combative, or suicidal patients to prevent injury.
• Assist with basic patient care functions and notify nursing staff for immediate interventions when needed.
• Remain in the patient’s room at all times, except for breaks, and may observe multiple patients via video monitoring.
• Contribute to patient safety, early detection of health issues, and timely medical intervention.

Work Shift

• Full Time and Part Time Shifts Available
• 8-hour shifts Monday-Sunday — 11:00pm - 7:30am
• Self-scheduling offering varied days including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work at least 16 hours a week (2 days).
• Required to float to our Bellevue Campus occasionally.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and behavioral management skills that promote safety of confused or suicidal patients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare student, military medic experience, or comparable work experience in a healthcare environment.
