Patient Safety Assistant — Night Shift

Responsibilities
- Monitor and interact with confused, violent, combative, or suicidal patients to prevent injury.
- Assist with basic patient care functions and notify nursing staff for immediate interventions when needed.
- Remain in the patient’s room at all times, except for breaks, and may observe multiple patients via video monitoring.
- Contribute to patient safety, early detection of health issues, and timely medical intervention.
Work Shift
- Full Time and Part Time Shifts Available
- 8-hour shifts Monday-Sunday — 11:00pm - 7:30am
- Self-scheduling offering varied days including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work at least 16 hours a week (2 days).
- Required to float to our Bellevue Campus occasionally.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and behavioral management skills that promote safety of confused or suicidal patients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare student, military medic experience, or comparable work experience in a healthcare environment.
