What You'll Do

As a Housekeeper Supervisor, you and your team create a clean, safe, healing environment throughout the facility. Your leadership and attention to detail will directly impact the quality of life for our team and those in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, train and lead housekeeping and/or laundry team
  • Develop and maintain department schedule to ensure adequate staffing
  • Perform periodic inspections of the building and grounds to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols
  • Collaborate with other staff members to address resident needs and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Ensure all facility policies and procedures are followed and updated as needed
  • Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies

Rate of Pay: USD $45,000.00 - USD $55,000.00 /Yr.

What You'll Bring

Qualifications of a Housekeeping Supervisor include:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in institutional housekeeping and laundry services
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Knowledge of cleaning protocols, infection control, fire prevention and safety measures in long-term care are highly valued but not required; training will be provided
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
