What to Expect

The truck line forklift operator is responsible for operating a forklift for receiving and locating products, moving, filling customer orders, and delivering them to truck line shipping, meeting safety, security, and productivity standards. The operator ensures the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and performs quality control checks to ensure order accuracy. All policies and procedures must be followed, and individual and departmental metrics should be met or exceeded.

As a Forklift Driver you’ll get to:

• Complete off-loading of daily shipments and stage them properly on the receiving floor.
• Accurately count and document inbound deliveries.
• Perform proper maintenance on all forklifts.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Adhere to safety standards and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Remove products from the receiving docks promptly after processing.
• Locate products into their respective areas after verifying part numbers and counts.

What you will need to succeed:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 months warehouse experience and 1 year with Crown stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
• Knowledge of receiving, warehouse, safety procedures, and some computer skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills to multitask effectively.
• Ability to respond promptly to inquiries or complaints.
