Warehouse Forklift/ Material Handler
Hercules, CA (Local candidates)
$23hr (Weekly pay +medical Benefits)
6 months contract (Great potential for extension or permanent)
Full- time: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 6am-2:30pm

*MUST HAVE: Stable work history, warhorse, material handling and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performs various routine physical tasks, including general upkeep, organization and cleaning within the warehouse. Computer skills necessary for processes.
  • SAP processes: material movements, process order picking & staging for production. Stock transfer orders - executing, picking, packing materials for transport. Cost center orders, cycle counting, scrap material processing, and other functional SAP & Warehouse processes.
  • Conducts material movements in accordance with SAP direction. Bin to bin movements. Ensures physical material & system quantity always match.
  • Operates reach truck forklifts, stackers, or related power equipment.
  • Maintains clean work area. Executes daily cleaning & compliance of assigned cleaning area.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to have good reading and writing skills in English
  • 2+ years related experience in warehouse, production, or manufacturing
  • Must have forklift experience
  • Experience moving materials in the warehouse, processing and order picking
  • Experience with cycle counting and handling materials
  • Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jack
  • Must have good math and computer skills
  • Experience with ERP system; SAP is a bonus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while standing for 6 to 10 hours
  • Must pass drug screening and background check
  • Clean driving record (use of forklift)
