Caregiver Job at Preferred Care at Home in Village of Penn Yan

Preferred Care at Home is a national non-medical home care franchise company, specializing in affordable elderly care to assist with daily tasks and offer emotional and social companionship. Services are provided in-home or at care facilities, enabling clients to celebrate life, dignity, and independence.

This is a full-time on-site role located in Penn Yan, NY, for a Caregiver. The Caregiver will be responsible for assisting clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Additionally, the Caregiver will provide emotional and social companionship, promote a positive living environment, and ensure the well-being and safety of clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing personal care and daily living assistance, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Skills in light housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
• Strong emotional and social companionship abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations
• High school diploma or equivalent
