Role Summary:

We are seeking a creative, driven, and highly organized Marketing Manager to drive our marketing efforts and build a strong, loyal community. This individual will be a key player in shaping the Hijack Poker brand, growing our user base, and fostering a positive and engaging environment for our players. The ideal candidate has a passion for poker, a knack for community building, and a strong understanding of digital marketing and social media trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy including live events and promotions.
• Create compelling marketing collateral, including graphics, videos, blog posts, email newsletters, and website copy.
• Work with internal teams to produce promotional materials for new features, tournaments, and events.
• Ensure all content aligns with the Hijack Poker brand voice and aesthetic.

Community Management:

• Own and manage Hijack Poker's community boards (e.g., Discord, Reddit, forums).
• Act as the primary point of contact for the community, engaging in discussions, answering questions, and providing support.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow and foster a positive, active, and welcoming community.
• Identify and cultivate community leaders and brand ambassadors.
• Monitor community sentiment and report key insights and feedback to the product and leadership teams.

Social Media Management:

• Develop and execute a dynamic social media strategy across all relevant platforms (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
• Manage all social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and daily monitoring.
• Create engaging social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user acquisition and engagement.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and impact.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.

Overall Marketing Strategy:

• Contribute to the development of the overall marketing strategy, working closely with the leadership team.
• Manage the marketing budget and track the ROI of various marketing initiatives.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing campaigns and report findings to management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a marketing or community management role, preferably in the gaming, tech, or entertainment industries.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful marketing campaigns and content creation.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative and engaging writing style.
• Proficiency with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• A self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A good sense of humor and passion for poker or card games is a significant plus.
