Overview
Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support large-scale enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), automation, and container orchestration (Kubernetes), combined with strong scripting and troubleshooting skills. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless software delivery, operational reliability, and scalability of systems in production. Base pay range
$45.00/hr - $50.00/hr Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads in AWS EKS / Azure AKS / GCP GKE. Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and enforce configuration drift management. Integrate security scans and compliance checks in CI/CD workflows (DevSecOps). Manage secrets and credentials securely using HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault. Optimize build, release, and deployment strategies for speed and reliability. Collaborate with application teams to resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure system resilience. Enable observability and performance monitoring across microservices environments. Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives when needed. Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles. Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP — including networking, IAM, security, and compute services. Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes. Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go. Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Strong understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and firewall rules. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk. Experience integrating security and compliance automation into DevOps workflows. Knowledge of GitOps, blue-green and canary deployments, and Helm for Kubernetes. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Skills
Experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and distributed tracing. Experience in FinTech, Healthcare, or regulated industries (SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA). Certifications such as: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Cloud or DevOps certifications preferred. Seniority level
