Corporate Merchandising Analyst, Omni - Millwork role at Lowe's Companies, Inc. The role partners with Merchants to ensure execution of omni product decisions and serves as an analytical and strategic resource in delivering against the product category strategy. It involves reviewing categories, providing analytical support, and offering recommendations for sales and margin growth. The role acts as a liaison with cross-functional support teams and is the primary point of contact for suppliers, stores, and internal support communities. It also includes onboarding new suppliers/vendors and ensuring accuracy of cost and stocking information. What You Will Do
Drive planning, preparations and execution of key business activities in partnership with the Merchant/Online Merchant; develop and organize product insights, performance metrics and presentations (e.g., Vendor Forum, Shark Tank, RVP Walks, Product Line Reviews) Proactively review and analyze store and online category performance and provide recommendations to improve product profitability and optimization Create and provide reporting based on data and analysis to inform merchant decisions on product or category performance in-store and online Support Merchant in Product Line Reviews by compiling financial targets and partnering with internal teams for successful execution Provide reporting and recommendations on inventory by analyzing opportunities to improve inventory health Support the Merchant in vendor negotiations and ongoing negotiation processes Develop and maintain strong partnerships and act as a point of contact for merchants, vendors, stores, online business and internal support communities Collaborate with internal teams on new item setup and maintenance; assist with new vendor setup and maintenance Maintain integrity and accuracy of product data within Lowe’s systems to ensure costs, vendor agreements and stocking information are accurate Conduct content reviews to ensure new assortments, planograms, item descriptions and product specifications are correct for both in-store and online; coordinate with support teams to follow protocols and standards Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve vendor or product concerns Ensure promotional activity for category is accurate and aligned with strategy and timelines Maintain working knowledge of Lowe’s policies, procedures and industry standards and compliance needs for assigned product areas Required Qualifications
2 years of experience in retail or merchandising Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) Preferred Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience About Lowe's
