Tax Senior - Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) - Central and East locations: 1218 Location: Chicago, New York City, Hoboken, Iselin, Charlotte, Atlanta, Phoenix, Seattle, Dallas, Miami, Washington Responsibilities

As a Tax Services Senior Analyst in ACR, you will help analyze specific issues in the preparation of statutory reporting, including GAAP to GAAP adjustments and how they are calculated and rolled forward in the preparation of statutory financial statements, to validate the accuracy and completion of the Statutory Financial Statements. Apply technical accounting knowledge to analyze account balances, reconciliations and other financial matters in the course of closing the accounts monthly, quarterly or annually to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Follow up on the status of deliverables, analyze issues preventing completion, and collaborate to resolve and mitigate risk of late filing and other compliance tasks. Execute tasks in continuous improvement projects to drive quality, visibility, efficiency and client experience, including analyzing current process performance and opportunities for improvement (e.g., evaluating manual journals for potential elimination or automation through technology). Apply judgment in the resolution of accounting or process issues. Skills And Attributes For Success

Package analysis into presentations for internal leaders and clients to facilitate decision making, including the statutory reporting compliance calendar and status. Interpret statutory reporting or accounting matters to develop options to resolve issues in consultation with supervisors. Escalate statutory reporting or accounting issues to management to maintain service delivery on time and quality. Supervised by an Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager. Ensure team members stay on task and within budget. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business major or equivalent experience. 3 – 4 years of experience. Approved technical certification, CPA license or membership to a state bar or progression toward attainment. Knowledge of global statutory reporting and/or bookkeeping, preferably with cross-country experience. Strong analytical, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and IT concepts. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize engagements. Ability to travel 20-30% to client locations. Ideally, you’ll also have

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $81,500 to $134,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $97,800 to $153,100. Individual salaries are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
