Job Title:
SAP MM Consultant
Location:
Houston, TX (4 Days Hybrid)
Duration:
Long Term Contract
Need:
15+ Years Candidates
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP MM module implementation, configuration, and support.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions.
Configure core MM components, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Master, Material Master, and Valuation.
Manage procurement processes (PRs, POs, Contracts, RFQs) and inventory movements.
Integrate MM with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, WM, FI/CO, and QM.
Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide post-implementation support and resolve user issues.
Train key users and create end-user documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP rollout and upgrade projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of experience in SAP MM module implementation and support.
Strong knowledge of Procurement, Inventory Management, and Material Valuation processes.
Experience with integration of MM with other SAP modules (FI, SD, PP, WM).
Understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
Experience in configuration of Pricing Procedures, Release Strategies, and Inventory Transactions.
Proficient in preparing functional specifications and working with ABAP developers.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM and Fiori apps.
Exposure to Ariba, SRM, or Supplier Portal integration.
Knowledge of warehouse and logistics processes.
SAP certification in Materials Management (MM).
Experience in Agile or hybrid implementation methodologies.
