Digital Learning Product Owner Overview

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Digital Learning Product Owner to drive a unified, learner-centric digital experience. This fully remote, contract opportunity is pivotal in consolidating learning platforms, improving personalization, and creating cohesive omni-channel engagement. The ideal candidate will bring strong agile product ownership skills, experience collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams, and the ability to break down complex ideas into actionable requirements. Flexibility is key—we welcome candidates at different experience levels who demonstrate core product ownership capabilities and can lead teams through ambiguity with clarity and purpose. Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, standard business hours (Eastern Time preferred) Occasional morning meetings may begin at 8:30 AM EST Primarily remote, with minimal travel for team workshops Key Responsibilities

Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, serving as the source of truth for business and technical requirements Break down complex concepts into epics, features, and stories to guide development teams and inform estimation Lead agile ceremonies including standups, refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives Partner closely with developers, designers, researchers, and business stakeholders to align vision, dependencies, and outcomes Collaborate with vendors to customize and integrate an off-the-shelf learning platform into a larger digital ecosystem Contribute to a multi-phase initiative: configuring the LMS, building the middleware to connect enterprise systems, and ensuring integration into the broader product ecosystem Partner with UX and product design teams to shape user flows, service blueprints, and customer journeys beyond UI design Communicate progress, milestones, and blockers clearly and consistently to stakeholders Qualifications and Skills

Solid product ownership experience Proficiency in agile methodology, sprint planning, and backlog management tools (such as ADP or equivalent) Strong collaboration skills across design, research, development, and business functions Ability to manage dependencies across squads and adapt plans to shifting priorities Experience working with vendors to configure and integrate third-party platforms into enterprise systems Demonstrated success in improving user journeys, digital engagement, and product usability Knowledge of mobile-first, omni-channel design strategies Prior experience in professional membership, education, or learning and development is a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred Why Join Us?
