Formulates, implements, and manages the athletic sports information strategy for the publicity and promotion of NSU\'s NCAA intercollegiate athletic teams. Essential Job Functions

Manages the day-to-day functions and assigns specific responsibilities to the Athletic Sports Information staff and graduate assistants. Trains staff on web content management systems, public relations strategy, PRESTO and publication software. Directs, supervises, and maintains all media distribution lists and media relations plan for the Sports Information Department, while promoting NSU at state and national levels. Supervises, writes, and oversees the dissemination of daily press releases and website content, including editorial responsibilities. Maintains positive relationships with internal and external media constituents including NSU\'s PRMCs, local, regional, and national media outlets, and other institutions\' athletic media representatives. Manages the production of athletic department publications including digital media guides, schedule cards, game programs, sport posters, and coordinates publication content and deadlines. Manages and maintains accurate data on the athletics website including team rosters, student-athlete bios, team statistics, and coach and department information. Manages and coordinates online video and audio streaming of NSU\'s athletic contests including scheduling and staffing. Manages and coordinates video content for interviews, sport shows, highlight reels, and video promos for streaming productions. Coordinates and compiles statistics for all sports using PRESTO and produces enhanced live stat views on the athletic department website for selected events. Assists coaches, teams, student-athletes and marketing in covering, promoting, and publicizing community engagement opportunities and events. Coordinates photography needs and services for all athletic department requirements including team photos, headshots, event action photos, and community service photos. Facilitates and manages the compilation of historical data for creating and maintaining coach, team, and student-athlete record books within the department, the Sunshine State Conference, and the NCAA. Coordinates nominations for weekly, preseason, and postseason athletic and academic awards with the Sunshine State Conference, coaches’ organizations and NCAA. Implements the social media plan for NSU athletics and reports weekly scores and statistics to relevant bodies. Formulates and monitors the Sports Information budget and the use of student employment within the department. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Job Requirements

Digital Media – Knowledge of digital media production and dissemination across web and social media. Marketing – Knowledge of promoting programs to achieve outcomes. Customer and Personal Service – Principles for providing service and evaluating satisfaction. Advanced knowledge of standard Adobe Suite. Skills Reading Comprehension – Advanced understanding of work-related documents. Writing – Advanced written communication skills. – Bachelor\'s Degree Required Experience

– Two (2) years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications
