Overview

This position will manage and develop a portfolio of commercial/commercial real estate relationships and ensure retention of total client assets and net growth in relationships, while complying with established Associated Banc-Corp risk management and credit policy, business strategy and regulatory guidelines. The Relationship Manager will work closely with internal partners to facilitate the development of new business relationships as well as develop prospects through COIs and other proactive measures. Play a vital role in the growth and development of the commercial banking/commercial real estate portfolio and market share. Primary focus will be to profile and work collaboratively with internal partners to sell/cross-sell commercial products to our existing client base, as well as to prospects. The Relationship Manager will build deposits, loans, fee income and refer appropriate customers and prospects to all applicable cross-sell partners, including Commercial Deposit & Treasury Management (CDTM), Capital Markets, Private Banking, Wealth Management, etc. to our existing client base and prospective customers. Responsibilities

Responsible for loan and deposit growth through client portfolio, centers of influence and other proactive measures to grow market share, as well as retain / grow existing portfolio. Client and prospect calling activity consists of telephone, in person calling and working collaboratively with internal partners. Collaborate with internal partners to cross-sell all bank products and services, especially non-borrowing services, including Commercial Deposits & Treasury Management (CDTM), Capital Markets, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Retail Bank-at-work, etc., to existing clients and prospective customers. Ensure portfolio administration and risk management for each client relationship is in compliance with credit policy, procedure, business strategy and regulatory guidelines. Develop commercial banking relationships by profiling and analyzing financial data to determine merits of loan requests and recommend structure. Provide financial advice and counsel to clients and prospective clients regarding trends in the business environment and banking. Make presentations on specific loans and participate in the loan approval process, recommending approval and appropriate structure of credits, with the Portfolio Manager. Participate in community and business functions to ensure a positive image for the bank and establish referral contacts within the community. Identify needs and refer customers to appropriate partners within and across lines of business to meet those needs. Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Finance, Accounting, Business)

Required Experience 8-10 years Commercial banking or business-to-business sales and business development skills; credit skills; knowledge of non-borrowing products; track record of sales and client management success

Required Licenses and Certifications Must have access to reliable transportation and be able to drive if applicable by start date

The pay range represents anticipated base pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on factors including location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. Base pay range: $114,450.00/yr - $196,200.00/yr
