Overview
Role Description This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for an Optometrist located in North Orange County, CA. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre- and post-operative care. The role also involves educating patients on eye health and preventive eye care measures, collaborating with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate patient records. Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school Active optometry license in the state of California Experience in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye diseases Proficiency in prescribing corrective lenses and managing pre- and post-operative care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient education on eye health issues Ability to work collaboratively with a team including ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals Proficiency in using specialized diagnostic equipment Strong organizational and record-keeping skills Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred. We currently have 7 locations, but this position is specifically for our Brea and Santa Ana locations. Full-time and part-time positions are available.
