Speech-Language Pathologist

to join our team. You’ll provide personalized, in-clinic therapy through evaluations and individualized treatment plans designed to meet each child’s unique needs. With

Requirements Eager to grow skills in high-demand clinical areas such as AAC, feeding, and childhood apraxia of speech. Work well with a supportive and diverse team of child specialists. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Illinois state license in good standing. Experience conducting assessments to identify strengths and needs of clients. Described as having unflappable patience and compassion. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Your role as a Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, PTs, BCBAs, Mental Health Practitioners, and Neuropsychologists within an interdisciplinary team. Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose communication and feeding disorders. Make appropriate cross-referrals to other disciplines. Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each client. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to improve speech, language, social, and feeding skills. Educate families, staff, and the community on AAC and other communication supports. Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists for coordinated care.
