Food Shelf Assistant - North Minneapolis

The North Minneapolis Food Shelf (Parkview) serves families and individuals in North Minneapolis and seeks to supplement the nutritional needs of low income individuals of all ages. As a food shelf volunteer, you will assist with unloading pallets or storage containers with donated food items and filling boxes/bags for distribution. You will assist will stocking the pantry shelves, breaking down cardboard and cleaning in the food pantry. Opportunity to volunteer as a food shelf "shopper" as well by guiding clients through the pantry to self-selected needed items. 2 shifts available: 09:00 to 11:00 CST 13:00 to 15:00 CST
