Senior Naval Architect - Clearance Required
Cydecor is seeking a Senior Naval Architect to provide support to a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) customer.
This role will support the analysis, evaluation, and oversight of technical and design requirements and performance for new and ongoing shipbuilding programs. Candidates should possess strong naval architecture and engineering fundamentals, as well as expertise with surface and undersea shipbuilding programs.
Responsibilities
Provide ship structure and design analyses
Study and establishment of ship design products and specifications
Provide evaluation of ship performance
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
15+ years of relevant experience
Relevant experience and expertise in Naval Architecture
Experience and expertise in the DoD 5000 process and guidelines
Interim or Active Secret clearance
Bonus points
Master's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) License
Security Clearance Minimum: Interim or Active Secret security clearance; Preferred: Interim or Active Top Secret security clearance.
Education Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Work Schedule M-F, Onsite
Compensation and Benefits The base pay range is $160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr. There are factors that can impact final salary, including relevant work experience, skills and competencies, work location, and certifications.
