The VP, Marketing will build the ZIPS brand, drive customer loyalty, and maximize revenues. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated history leading strategic marketing planning and execution, with experience in digital, web, and CRM management. They should be consumer-centric, data-driven, and able to turn insight into action. This leader will help determine the strategic direction of ZIPS with a focus on creating a seamless customer journey and defining our point of differentiation to position us as a best-in-class retailer. The role is responsible for all marketing-related functions in the creation and execution of comprehensive digital, social, promotional, and branding campaigns designed to build the brand, drive traffic, and generate profitable sales. They will strive to drive new customer acquisition, build relevant consumer engagement, and improve member retention while delivering a differentiated brand experience. This position leads the team’s marketing, creative, digital/social, partnership, and customer support initiatives, with key focus areas including brand building, driving retail traffic, building membership value, and gaining deeper consumer insight. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and will serve as an integral member of the leadership team. The role will have 4 direct reports and lead a team of more than 18 employees, while managing several external agencies. The right candidate will be a working leader who is entrepreneurial, innovative, analytical, fast-paced, and able to juggle many projects at a time. RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Brand leader, protect and communicate the ZIPS brand, staying aligned with our vision, mission, values, and business needs with teams and guests. Drive internal culture through programs, contests, and internal communications. Collaborate cross functionally with multiple internal departments to drive company vision. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs to drive and achieve sales and membership KPIs. Lead marketing and business analytic insights, ensure the business achieves sales growth through promotions, customer engagement, and local initiatives. Ensure ROI and revenue tracking across all marketing channels. Oversee the implementation of service packaging repositioning and the introduction of new products. Manage market and site-level pricing strategies for retail customers and membership clubs. Develop digital strategy including SEO/SEM, social media, website management, and brand reputation management. Design and deploy CRM drip campaigns based on consumer and market dynamics to enhance engagement and drive retention. Manage the customer database including data acquisition strategy and implementation, data hygiene, segmentation and targeting. Build and launch the ZIPS mobile app based on the long-term roadmap with an immediate focus on app adoption, retail traffic, member retention, and loyalty rewards. Drive e-commerce strategy and promotional plan to expand revenue opportunities and extend membership retention. Lead all aspects of strategic brand partnerships and sponsorships. Supervise customer support team to manage response time, membership save rates, and use data to proactively improve customer experience; manage membership refunds and chargebacks. Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions, monitoring competitive products, pricing and marketing activities. Lead a highly functioning team of 18, including 4 direct reports, while working cross-functionally and with external agency partners. Build and manage the Marketing department’s budget. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and qualifications that assist in efficiently completing this job include: Bachelor's degree, ideally in Marketing; MBA preferred 10+ years Marketing experience Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google AdWords B2C communications experience Customer segmentation experience Subscription service experience preferred Ability to work flexible hours including weekends Travel 50% Physical Demands and Work Environment
