Overview

This role involves managing, understanding, and analyzing in-house and customer data, including text mining, developing predictive systems, risk scoring, creating efficient algorithms, data quality improvement, and related activities. Experiment and Develop: drive the end-to-end model development lifecycle, champion best practices for reproducible research and well-managed software delivery. Collaborate: work on a cross-functional team, share information, value diverse ideas, partner with colleagues globally, elevate and mentor teammates, and work with product teams to deploy features and models into production. Deliver: translate complex business problems into clearly defined projects with timely, well-managed deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Innovate: try new approaches, learn new technologies, iterate rapidly, and foster a mindset of failing fast and learning from data. Inspire: communicate proactively, articulate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences, and help lead AI adoption across the enterprise. Qualifications
Master’s or Bachelor’s in a relevant discipline (relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree). Proficiency in Python. At least 3+ years of practical, relevant experience building AI/ML products and applications, with recent demonstrable experience using Generative AI technologies (e.g., RAG patterns, ReAct, LangChain) for document summarization, knowledge graphs, information extraction, or analysis. Solid software engineering skills and experience; experience as a technical leader, handling ideation with product stakeholders, ambiguity, problem decomposition, research plans, coordination, and stakeholder communication. Hands-on coding experience on AI/ML projects and experience designing, developing, and implementing ML models and algorithms. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is essential for government contract/agency requirements. Preferred (not required): 6+ years of practical experience using AI/ML to solve diverse problems; experience with AI agent frameworks; NLP use cases (chatbot development, information retrieval, translation, NER, summarization, topic modeling); familiarity with LLM training and PEFT/LoRA/Quantization; experience with NLP/CV libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, spaCy, HuggingFace, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, OpenCV); cloud experience (AWS, Azure); agile environments; delivering MVPs in large enterprises. Experience developing libraries and APIs for others to use. Outstanding communication and data-driven decision-making in collaboration with Product and Business Stakeholders.
