The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Investigations Manager will manage various AML Fraud processes, including suspicious activity investigations, fraud investigations, global sanctions screening, enhanced due diligence, and other AML processes. The Manager is responsible for adhering to department policies and standards, advising investigators, managing workflow, delivering high-quality work, and providing general people management. The role also leads projects or process improvement teams and interfaces with Legal, Compliance, Business Areas, and other Investigation teams within Capital One. Responsibilities

Lead daily investigation workflow, controls and results metrics for the team Set clear goals/objectives and motivate teams to achieve superior results Assess internal trends and the external regulatory & law enforcement environment to make recommendations, identify risk areas, and modify current processes Participate in regulatory exams and internal audits focused on the AML operational process; respond to and coordinate with Law Enforcement contacts Oversee complex financial investigations, sanctions reviews, or other AML Fraud Processes Manage a team of leaders who perform centralized review to capture, document and assess customer BSA-AML risks Manage the rollout of BSA-AML risk management tools and methodologies across the Bank Collaborate with other functional fraud areas to ensure enterprise-level BSA-AML objectives are met Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 3 years of people management experience At least 3 years of Fraud investigative experience, or at least 3 years AML experience Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree 5 years of people management experience 5 years of Fraud investigative experience or AML experience Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), ACAMS, Certified Financial Crime Specialist, or CRCM certification Additional information:

Chicago, IL: $132,800 - $151,600; McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700; Melville, NY: $159,400 - $181,900; Plano, TX: $132,800 - $151,600; Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600; Wilmington, DE: $132,800 - $151,600. Actual offer will reflect the location and applicable pay range. Seniority level: Mid-Senior level; Employment type: Full-time; Job function: Legal.
