Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid / Onsite) Industry: Offshore Energy / EPC A leading engineering and construction company in the offshore energy sector is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support a major deepwater floating production development in the Gulf of Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, execution-focused professional experienced in multi-disciplinary offshore engineering coordination across structural, hull, topside, and marine disciplines. Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate engineering deliverables across multiple disciplines to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and quality requirements. Coordinate the flow of design input, output, and deliverables among internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and classification societies. Support project planning, progress tracking, and change management throughout all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning). Participate in design and coordination meetings, document action items, and follow up to ensure timely closure. Work closely with document control and planning teams to maintain effective engineering workflows and documentation. Interface with clients, classification societies (ABS/DNV), and vendors to resolve technical and execution issues. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Naval Architecture). +8 years of experience in offshore or heavy industrial EPC/EPCC projects. Hands-on experience with FPU, FPSO, Semi-Submersible, or other floating production systems. Strong background in coordinating multi-discipline engineering teams and managing deliverables. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, and document management systems such as SmartPlant or SharePoint. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Based in or open to relocation to Houston, TX. Preferred Experience
Deepwater Gulf of Mexico project experience. Previous work with leading offshore EPC contractors. PMP certification or formal project management training. Prior experience in structural or hull engineering before transitioning into project coordination. Familiarity with US offshore regulations (BOEM, USCG). Apply now!
