Location: US Remote Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $146,000.00 Job Summary The Aftermarket Sales Territory Manager (Oregon/SW Washington) is accountable for consistent and sustainable sales growth by engaging SKF Authorized Distributors, Channel Partners, and End Users. The role focuses on deepening and expanding customer relationships, securing SKF’s position with customers on new products and applications, and delivering a flawless customer experience. This position reports to the Regional Sales Director and serves as the primary contact for distributors and end-users in the defined sales area. The role includes retention of existing/core business and development and conversion of new opportunities, coordinating with SKF resources (CS, AE, Marketing, etc.) to support aftermarket activities. Deliver year-over-year, sustainable profit growth within the assigned portfolio. Actively manage daily engagement with SKF Authorized Distributors, Channel Partners, and end-users to drive sales growth through product expansion andexceptional customer experience. Build, deepen, and sustain customer relationships; serve as a trusted advisor to customers and their teams. Provide strong technical support to distributor and end-user accounts and act as the primary technical partner within the defined sales area. Perform application reviews for new opportunities and recommend optimal SKF solutions; troubleshoot existing applications and assess upgrade opportunities. Assess competitive share-shift opportunities and promote SKF alternatives. Document sales opportunities in the funnel aligned with SKF strategies; maintain technical contacts to generate opportunities. Develop and execute cross-functional go-to-market strategies with internal and external stakeholders. Manage end customers with an opportunity-based sales plan to protect existing business and drive growth. Utilize SKF sales processes for offer development and insight presentations to advance opportunities through the funnel. Plan and modify products to meet customer needs and ensure timely delivery of orders. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience. Strong commercial and technical/mechanical aptitude with general industry knowledge and the ability to communicate technical details. Ability to answer technical questions using SKF catalogs for bearings, seals, and maintenance products, including nomenclature, design features, fits, basic maintenance recommendations, and competitor product interchanges. Experience with SKF Sales Excellence process and insight selling; ability to train and demonstrate bearings, seals, and maintenance products. Knowledge of lubrication methods, bearing failures and causes, and hands-on failure analysis recommendations. Ability to troubleshoot applications and articulate advanced problems to Application Engineers as needed. Strong organizational, time management, and sales planning skills; entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and results-driven. Willingness and ability to travel 50-70% domestically. Proficient with SKF tools and systems (C4C, Illuminate, Microsoft Suite, PTPlace, DeliveryData.net, SKFiOS, Android apps and Croesus) and experienced in sales funnel management and distributor relationships.
