About The Role Cinq Music is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and execution-focused Vice President of Marketing to lead all marketing efforts across our portfolio of labels, artists, and global initiatives. The VP of Marketing will develop and execute strategies to amplify market presence, accelerate artist growth, and strengthen Cinq Music’s leadership in the evolving music industry. This executive will oversee brand, commercial, digital, and audience development marketing functions, managing internal teams and external agency partners. They will set the strategic vision for marketing and ensure alignment across artist development, fan engagement, and business growth objectives. Responsibilities
Marketing Leadership & Strategy
Define and lead the overall marketing vision and roadmap for Cinq Music. Oversee marketing disciplines including DSP/commercial marketing, content and creator strategy, creative direction, audience development, and paid media. Align marketing initiatives with corporate goals, artist objectives, and label priorities to drive growth and profitability.
Artist Development & Growth
Build and execute campaigns that break new artists, elevate emerging talent, and expand catalog reach. Pioneer innovative approaches to audience development, superfans engagement, and direct-to-fan monetization. Ensure marketing strategies are integrated with A&R, commercial, and digital initiatives.
Audience Development & Creator Marketing
Provide leadership for influencer, creator, and fan engagement strategies via the Director of Audience Development and team. Ensure creator-led campaigns are integrated into broader marketing plans to drive streaming growth, retention, and D2C revenue. Champion fan-first initiatives including digital fan clubs, CRM/first-party data strategies, and superfans monetization. Accountability for audience growth, engagement KPIs, and ROI-driven creator marketing.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and scale a distributed marketing organization, overseeing senior marketing leaders. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence; develop high-potential talent into future leaders. Assess organizational needs and address talent gaps for future growth.
Industry & Partner Relations
Cultivate relationships with DSPs, creators, media platforms, agencies, and industry stakeholders. Represent GoDigital Music as a senior leader in external meetings and partnerships. Strengthen collaboration with label partners and artist management teams to maximize impact.
Data, Insights & Process
Foster data-informed decision-making across marketing disciplines. Build scalable processes for campaign planning, execution, and reporting. Partner with analytics, finance, and operations to translate insights into actionable strategies increasing ROI.
Innovation & Market Foresight
Anticipate trends in music, media, technology, and fan engagement; experiment with new platforms and strategies to expand reach and monetization. Keep marketing innovation at the forefront of the business, from creator economies to direct-to-fan platforms.
Experience And Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in music marketing with a proven record of breaking artists and driving measurable growth. Expertise in Latin music markets strongly preferred; global marketing experience a plus. Strong relationships with DSPs, creators, influencers, and other key industry stakeholders. Success in integrated campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and traditional channels. Experience leading audience development, creator marketing, and influencer strategies at scale. Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams across marketing functions. Data-driven, process-oriented with advanced campaign analytics and optimization skills. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills; ability to inspire teams and influence senior stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus. Bilingual/Multilingual (Spanish strongly preferred) is a plus.
