About the Role
As the
CMC Project Manager
at
Dianthus Therapeutics, Inc. , you will be a critical member of the technical operations group. You will support the planning, execution, and oversight of key CMC activities across our pipeline. This role reports to the Director, CMC Program Management and owns non-clinical sample management processes and other workstreams, including coordinating Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) operational planning, documentation timelines, risk management, and budget planning to support development programs. You will follow up with internal stakeholders, communicate project updates, maintain project timelines, develop templates to track deliverables, and facilitate meetings (agendas, minutes, and action items). The role requires experience in sample management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners. We are open to remote work. Key Responsibilities
Support CMC and technical operations teams to deliver on schedule, within scope and budget, and aligned with program goals. Own sample management processes, including tracking, shipment, inventory control, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and quality requirements. Coordinate cross-functional project teams (analytical, process development, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and supply chain) to ensure alignment and progress. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, dashboards, and status reports. Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external partners (vendors, CMOs, CROs). Identify process improvements, optimize resource planning, and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with PMs across functions. Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate with mitigation recommendations as needed. Prepare project documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes, and decision logs. Track and report progress against milestones to senior management and program leadership. Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline. Hands-on experience with sample management, including logistics, shipping, tracking systems, and GxP compliance. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic startup environment. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent). Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach. Highly motivated team player.
