This position is at various Brooklyn clinics Hours: 7am–7:30pm and weekends as needed Must be fluent in English and Spanish Compensation: $20–$24 per hour Base pay and compensation
Base pay range: $41,000.00/yr – $53,000.00/yr Compensation: $20–$24 per hour (as listed above) Responsibilities
Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms; assist with completion of forms as necessary Become familiar with clinic computer hardware and software and use according to company policies Schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs (e.g., transportation, rescheduling) Perform clerical work as needed (copying, filing, faxing, etc.) Ensure patient needs are met and questions are answered Maintain procedure rooms by keeping them neat and ready for use Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures per instructions Prepare patients before procedures and clean up afterwards Provide post-procedure instructions and guidance on medications if needed Monitor and replenish supply levels Apply sterile technique and OSHA regulations Prepare IV solutions Train new staff as needed Assist ultrasound staff as needed Transport supplies or equipment as required Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements
Medical Assistant Certification preferred High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of relevant experience Fluency in English and Spanish Benefits
