Under the supervision of the Chief of Programs or Deputy Chief of Programs, the Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, including compliance with all contractual agreements, personnel, program implementation, building maintenance, program finances, administrative systems and daily reporting. The Program Manager serves as a liaison to SBY’s administrative staff, other SBY programs, and the community at large. Responsibilities

Oversees general program operations, including day-to-day oversight of the program, development and implementation of policies and procedures, staffing structure, and new ideas for programming. Ensures the highest quality crisis intervention, life skills, education, counseling, and housing services are provided to all clients as relevant. Develops systems with staff to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes and services; maintains administrative systems to facilitate service delivery; conducts periodic reviews of activities, program intake, case files and supportive documentation to ensure quality care. Coordinates and implements client services and service plans; updates based on youth and program desires and assessments. Maintains accurate and compliant documentation, including case files, client statistics and data entry in relevant databases (e.g., HMIS). Completes external and internal reports accurately and on time. Designs life skills and psychoeducation classes and groups, or partners with external classes and groups. Manages programs according to grant and contract specifications. Recommends personnel actions, including hiring, evaluating, and separating employees as appropriate. Provides direct supervision to staff interacting with clients, through one-on-one supervision and staff meetings as directed. Researches, designs, implements, and supervises developmentally appropriate supportive services aligned with best practices. Ensures maintenance of clinical, administrative and financial records. Assists in Continuous Quality Assurance activities and serves as program liaison to internal and external stakeholders; develops partnerships to expand referrals and services. Conducts weekly/biweekly staff meetings and regular supervision with staff. Participates in supervisor-led trainings and agency-wide meetings as assigned. Monitors and reports property repairs; ensures safety standards and regular upkeep of the facility. Reports technology-related concerns and supports staff and client IT needs. Performs other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Human Services, Health Care, or Social Work is preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of professional supervisory or managerial experience in human services or social service delivery systems. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a social service program serving homeless and underserved populations. Strong communication and organizational skills. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; able to complete required clearances and trainings. Able to work occasional evenings, overnights, weekends as needed to ensure proper staffing. Commitment to ending youth homelessness, racial inequity, exclusion, and Sasha Bruce Youthwork’s mission.
