Carle Foundation Hospital is excited to add
BE/BC Hematology/Oncology Physicians
with opportunity to specialize in his/her area of interest in oncology to the Carle Cancer Institute in Urbana, Illinois. Physicians would practice at our main campus in Urbana with one day per week at one of Carle’s Hematology/Oncology satellite locations. Overview Opportunity Details: Hematology/Oncology Physicians would practice at our main campus in Urbana with one day per week at one of Carle’s Hematology/Oncology satellite locations. Training and interest in both Hematology and Oncology are required. The physician will be able to specialize in his/her area of interest in oncology. Board eligibility for new graduates and board certification in both hematology and oncology are required. Responsibilities
Practice at the main campus in Urbana with weekly coverage at satellite locations. Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary cancer care team, including Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology and Breast Surgery, and other related services. Participate in Weekly Disease Specific Tumor Boards and other multidisciplinary activities. Contribute to clinical research, patient accrual to trials, and potential investigator-initiated studies. Engage in teaching responsibilities for medical students and Internal Medicine residents as applicable. Qualifications
Board eligible or board-certified in Hematology and Oncology (BE/BC). Interest in a subspecialty within oncology and ability to specialize in area of interest. Experience is welcomed; mentorship for new graduates provided. Ability to work within a vertically integrated health system and participate in a multi-disciplinary cancer care model. Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $575,000 – $750,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range. Actual compensation offered will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, location, licenses, shifts, and compensation model. Carle Health offers a comprehensive benefits package.
