Engineering Project Director - US, North Carolina - Long Term Contract Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization, is looking for a talented Engineering Project Director to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States. Responsibilities
CQV focus, end-to-end project experience Ownership of $100M+ package; pharma/biotech manufacturing experience; startup/ramp-up experience important (operations experience receiving facility for a project would be ideal) Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, equipment, quality, automation, manufacturing and construction, to ensure timely and effective execution Managing Upstream, Downstream, CIP, clean utilities, facility qualification, and project services Understanding equipment principles and integration Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, schedule and budget Manage and Lead teams for each that will consist of 60–80 people Be in the field, boots on the ground and be prepared to support the project execution teams Requirements
Requires extensive experience in process engineering, CQV, or project management, with a strong focus on drug substance biologics projects. Candidates with 10 years of experience and a solid background may also be considered. End to end project experience Experience in package of equipment of $100 – 200m Experience of managing up to 60 people Greenfield project experience Operational leadership experience alongside project is beneficial.
