As an
Art Director , drive the game’s artistic vision, strategy, and execution. Report to the GM and collaborate with the DoP, Design Director, and Head of Art to ensure a consistent, world-class aesthetic across assets, marketing, and brand touchpoints. Define, champion, and govern the game's artistic vision; create and maintain an Art Style Guide; stay ahead of AI trends to elevate visual quality. Recruit, lead, and mentor a multi-disciplinary art team; develop and manage the art pipeline with Production to deliver high-quality, optimized assets on time and budget. Oversee external studios and freelancers; provide clear, actionable feedback; enable scalable content production. Collaborate with Design, Product, Narrative leadership, Marketing, and UA teams to ensure art supports gameplay and high-performance creatives authentic to the game. Qualifications
10+ years of game art experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Art Lead/Director) on a shipped AAA title. World-class portfolio demonstrating mastery of stylized fantasy worlds, memorable character design, and a unique visual identity. Experience building and leading art teams and managing large-scale external development/outsourcing pipelines. Deep expertise in modern 2D/3D art pipelines, tools (Unity preferred), and mobile performance optimization. Ability to articulate creative concepts and provide clear, constructive feedback; proactive with iteration and balancing vision with execution at scale. Bonus
Experience with live-service mobile ARPG, RPG, or Hero Collector games. Passion for mythology and fantasy; experience collaborating with Marketing/UA on high-performance creatives.
