Location: This role is based 2 days per week out of our San Francisco, HQ and is not eligible for full-time remote work. Compensation: The annual cash compensation range for this role is $135,000-$150,000 in addition to equity & benefits. About Gem

We are seeking a GTM Systems Engineer to join our Revenue Operations team. This role will own the administration, optimization, and architecture of Salesforce and integrated GTM tools. You will be a strategic partner to GTM teams, executing scalable processes, managing complex integrations, and ensuring systems empower the business. What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

Systems Administration & Architecture: Lead the administration and optimization of Salesforce (user setup, security model, roles, permission sets, page layouts, validation rules). Design, build, and maintain Salesforce Flows to automate complex processes; ensure scalability and documentation. Partner with RevOps to scope requirements and translate them into Flow-based or automated solutions. Manage configuration and integrations with GTM systems (e.g., Outreach, ZoomInfo, Gong, CPQ tools). Own and improve lead routing; drive data quality through deduplication, validation rules, and monitoring. Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose and resolve complex issues with Salesforce automations and integrations; investigate broken processes; provide long-term fixes and document changes. Process Enablement & Optimization: Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions; identify inefficiencies and automate repetitive workflows; ensure data structures support reporting and forecasting; project manage as needed. Reporting Support: Ensure data and field architecture enable accurate dashboards and forecasting; collaborate with Finance, Marketing, RevOps, and Ops to validate data. Governance & Security: Own system access, roles, and permissions; define governance for changes and workflows; monitor system health and performance. About You

4–6+ years of Salesforce administration experience (Salesforce Administrator certification required). Expertise with Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules) and strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture. Hands-on experience managing integrations between Salesforce and GTM systems (e.g., Outreach, ZoomInfo, Gong, Marketo, CPQ). Familiarity with middleware tools and API-based integrations. Strong understanding of GTM processes (lead lifecycle, pipeline management, renewals, expansions). Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across tools. Experience designing scalable data models and system architecture for reporting and forecasting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and CS leadership. Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification. Experience with Salesforce CPQ or other quoting/billing systems. Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and data warehouse environments (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery). Benefits
