Role Description

This is an on-site role for a SAP S/4 PP/QM Lead Consultant located in Edison, NJ. The SAP S/4 PP/QM Lead Consultant will be responsible for leading and managing SAP S/4HANA PP/QM module implementations and enhancements. Day-to-day tasks will include analyzing business processes and requirements, configuring the SAP S/4HANA system, conducting system testing, ensuring quality and compliance, providing user training and support, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead the PP/QM workstream, partnering with business stakeholders.

Manage S/4 AMS deliverables from the client side, ensuring SLA compliance and high-quality incident, problem, and change management.

Coordinate across vendors to drive accountability and provide consolidated reporting to the client.

Act as an SME for SAP S/4 PP/QM while remaining hands-on in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

Provide expertise in demand planning, material planning, shop floor control, process orders, inspection lots, and quality notifications.

Integrate PP/QM with related modules (MM, SD, WM, FI/CO) within the S/4 environment.

Review and approve functional specifications, support development, and oversee testing, cutover, and Hypercare.

Ensure proactive monitoring of tickets, recurring issues, and system performance within PP/QM.

Mentor junior consultants and transfer knowledge to client IT teams.

Requirements

8–12 years of SAP experience, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4 PP/QM implementations and significant AMS support exposure.

Strong expertise in PP master data, MRP, production execution, quality inspection, and batch management.

Good knowledge of integration points with FI, CO, and MM.

Demonstrated ability to manage AMS operations, including ticket queues, escalations, and vendor performance.

Excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills
