Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled hands-on Senior Project Management Consultant to manage the day-to-day execution of complex, cross-functional projects within our organization. This role involves hands-on project management of medium and large-scale initiatives, such as new capital developments and site openings, requiring close coordination across operations, finance, technology, and marketing. The successful candidate will establish and manage project plans, coordinate tasks, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, champion project management discipline, drive best practices, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. This role will report directly to the Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) and the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Project/Program Management: Manage the day-to-day execution of complex, cross-functional projects. Develop, maintain, and adjust detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate tasks and deliverables across teams, ensuring alignment with project goals. Establish and implement a robust project management framework tailored to the organization’s needs. Develop and maintain a stakeholder management framework for clear communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle. Define project milestones, create a detailed work breakdown structure, and identify dependencies for clear sequencing of tasks. Monitor progress against milestones, proactively managing risks and resolving issues to avoid delays. Lead project status meetings and ensure all team members are aligned and informed of developments and follow-up actions. Prepare and present regular project status updates to executive leadership and other key stakeholders. Project Management Evangelism and Maturity
Serve as a hands-on mentor to project teams and department leaders, providing guidance on best practices. Conduct training sessions and workshops to build project management skills across the organization. Develop and implement a practical and adaptable project management framework. Promote a culture of project management excellence and continuous improvement. Wrike Rollout Leadership: Lead the implementation and rollout of Wrike as the organization’s project management software. Train staff on Wrike, including setting up projects, tracking progress, and reporting. Monitor Wrike adoption and ensure integration with the project management approach. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) preferred. 7-10 years of experience in project/program management with a proven track record managing schedules, budgets, communications, documentation, and team assignments. Prior experience building and operating a Project Management Office or Enterprise Project Management Office is a plus. Experience managing healthcare or construction projects is a plus. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and stakeholder management. Proven ability to establish milestones and effectively manage schedules, budgets, communications, documentation, and team assignments. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment. Self-starter with curiosity and attention to detail; strong problem-solving abilities and ability to navigate ambiguity. Ability to align goals, deliverables, and plans with business priorities. Experience coaching, mentoring, and training teams in project management principles. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive change. Proficiency with productivity and project management tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, Word, Monday, Wrike, etc.). Preferred
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and credentials, $100,000 - $160,000 per year Benefits: Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF); Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental and Vision plans, Retirement plans
