To support our mission, we seek a Senior Operations Coordinator to join our team in Washington, DC. Responsibilities

Serve as primary point of contact for visiting staff and groups to reserve and access space within the NAC, and serve as liaison between guests/groups and building security and program leadership Assist with event preparation and execution by coordinating with vendors (caterers, etc.), orienting guests, preparing event materials, coordinating IT and supply needs, and other duties as requested by event hosts Ensure proper and timely maintenance of office space, including maintenance of all office supplies and working with relevant vendors and service providers to ensure equipment upkeep Serve as primary point of contact and liaison for IT, HR, Legal, Finance, and other organizational teams trying to access NAC space and/or coordinate with NAC teams Receive and distribute mail and handle outgoing mailing requests/needs Lead routine inventories of NAC office needs, including publications, materials, supplies, appliances/equipment, subscriptions, and ensure replacements and/or upkeep are obtained as needed Assist with other routine administrative tasks as requested, including meeting scheduling, mail distribution, etc. Support office safety and security needs, including incident and emergency response procedures Support other special projects related to office space or operations as needed Coordinate the efficient processing of all contracts and invoicing, including appropriate approvals and financial tracking, for NAC teams as assigned Collaborate with program operations and finance departments and NAC leadership to optimize financial systems and tools Cultivate and bolster staff morale by supporting execution of retreats, trainings, and workshops Identify and execute opportunities for interpersonal and social connection for NAC staff in person and virtually Ensure information and resource sharing via existing systems and intranet, to encourage cross-program collaboration and learning Support programmatic and departmental leadership, including scheduling meetings and supporting administrative needs Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent work experience 2–3 years of progressively responsible administrative or office coordination experience. Exposure to nonprofit or mission-driven work environments a plus Demonstrated ability to build relationships across departments and levels Ability to support hybrid or remote team coordination High integrity and reliability; able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle simultaneous work demands Ability to understand and contribute to the diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives set forth by the National Wildlife Federation Strategic thinker, well organized communicator, and demonstrated ability to set goals and meet deadlines Tech savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications; experience with AirTable a plus Notary Public preferred Location and Work Mode

The National Wildlife Federation is committed to a flexible and empowered work environment with an authentic community of care for all staff. In this position, the employee is expected to work fully from Washington, DC. A hybrid work-mode that will require multiple days per week in the DC office and some work from home opportunity will be considered for the ideal candidate, in alignment with supervisor and further addressed in the staff member’s work agreement. Approximately 2-3 times per year; 2-4 nights per trip Compensation And Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000 – 62,000, commensurate with experience. Application
